Barry Taylor, Ph.D.

Barry Taylor is Chief Scientific Officer of Loxo@Lilly. While at Lilly, Barry has held roles of increasing responsibility and currently leads preclinical oncology research from project initiation and molecule creation through translational science for early and late-phase clinical assets.
Prior to joining Lilly, Barry was faculty at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he also served in a leadership role of the Center for Molecular Oncology and ran a multidisciplinary research laboratory focused on characterizing the genomic basis of human tumorigenesis, progression and response to therapy.
Barry is a cancer scientist, having received his Ph.D. in Physiology, Biophysics and Systems Biology from Cornell University, his M.S. in Bioinformatics from the University of Michigan, and a B.S. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego.
