Nina Kosaric, Ph.D.

Nina Kosaric is Senior Director and Site Head of Lilly Gateway Labs in San Francisco supporting the local biotech ecosystem by accelerating drug discovery and development through early engagement with companies and providing tailored offerings to meet their needs.

Nina joined Lilly in 2023 as Senior Director of Strategy & Growth in Corporate Business Development. In this role, she helped define and implement Lilly’s strategic vision for external innovation across therapeutic areas, including emerging areas of innovation. Prior to Lilly, she was an Engagement Manager in the Life Sciences practice at McKinsey & Company, advising global biopharma companies on portfolio strategy, asset acceleration, and optimizing clinical development through trial design and site selection. She brings cross-functional expertise at the intersection of science and strategy, with a track record of accelerating R&D execution and decision-making.

Nina completed her Ph.D. in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine from Stanford University and her A.B. in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology from Harvard University.
